A business is only as good as the people it employs, so it stands to reason that the companies on top are also the best places to work. That’s the basis for the newly restructured Best Companies to Work for in Colorado, a program presented by ICC – Innovate. Coach. Consult., in partnership with ColoradoBiz magazine.
“At ICC, we are known for disrupting the traditional. So, we’ve breathed new life to this well-established program.” says Shawna Simcik, ICC President, Business Leadership. The Best Companies to Work for in Colorado award program has been revamped and now empowers all participating companies – finalist or not – with valuable data about employees’ experience and the culture to fuel better people and business decisions.
There are hundreds of “best places to work” awards and most applications for this type of award are basic, ranking companies based on financial projections and/or number of employees. Best Companies to Work for in Colorado is now based entirely on employee feedback about the employee experience at the company… with a twist. Finalists will also be required to submit a short video for final judging (think “The Voice” or “American Idol”). Finalists will be named in small-, medium- and large-company categories (among other titles) and celebrated at the inspired, new awards event in November. Finalists will also be featured in the November-December issue of ColoradoBiz.
“The new Best Companies to Work for in Colorado event will be unlike any other awards ceremony,” exclaimed Susan Ruhl, ICC President and CFO. “Expect it to be engaging and disruptive as well as an incredible place to mingle with the best of the best in Colorado”
